The Middle Colonies, particularly Delaware, were tolerant. They had diverse populations. Slavery was not practiced there, so this might be a deciding factor to your answer. Harbors alway get larger.

I think I'd pick the second one down <<<<<<=====

Answer:

plantations had many enslaved workers.

Explanation:

The southern colonies had fertile soil and needed lots of cheap labor, this created a perfect environment for people to buy slaves because they were good workers and compared to hiring people to work they were very cheap, so the southern states were filled with slaves in order to keep their economy going, this was the main difference between the middle and southern colonies, the amount of slaves that were brought to the colonies.

When would the large work force of farmers be available to work on government projects, like building palaces and tombs?
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Even though you don't specify it, I believe you are talking about ancient Egypt, since a high percentage of the population of ancient Egypt were farmers, and when they were not farming they were doing other jobs. Specifically during the flood season they were not able to farm so it was then when they worked for the pharaoh on building projects.
