Answer:

The condition of the work houses and the insensitivity of the parish officials.

Explanation:

Charles Dickens's children story "Oliver Twist" tells the story of an orphaned boy named Oliver who had to endure hardships and many other obstacles right from his birth. Dickens also uses this novel to criticize the condition of the Victorian society represented in the story.

In the beginning of the story, Dickens tells us about the birth of Oliver and the immediate death of the mother. Through the characterization of Oliver from a very young age, Dickens uses the plot and setting to criticize how insensitive the parish officials were in their treatment of orphans like Oliver. They were supposed to be guardians of the lost children but instead, they fill their own stomachs and left the children to starve and suffer. Also, the condition of the workhouse was so miserable. Charles Dickens made it possible to show it in his story, thereby openly and indirectly criticizing it too. These institutions were supposed to house and take care of the children but they did just the opposite, making life more miserable for the children.

Digiron [165]

Answer:

The slogan of  "Serving the People", is one of the core principles of the Communist Party of China. In times of difficulty we must not lose sight of our achievements, must see the bright future and must pluck up our courage. The Chinese people are suffering; it is our duty to save them and we must exert ourselves in struggle. You may also check what the writers from Prime-writings can write in 150 words.
