A Cold Warrior is a person who was actively involved in the conflicts between the Soviet Union and the United States during the Cold War era.

Kennedy would be considered a cold warrior due to his interactions with the Soviet Union. One of the most famous examples is the Cuban Missile Crisis. This conflict that took place in October 1962 was based around the Soviet Union placing missives in Cuba. This was the closest the world ever came to nuclear war. However the US and Soviet Union came to a deal.

Nixon would be considered a cold warrior as well because of his role in combating domestic communism during the 1950’s. He heavily influenced the House Un American Activities Committee that questioned American citizens and their ties to the Soviet Union/communism.

Explanation Both the leaders were hungry for power and came onto to become leaders by promising good for the people but the similarity didn't catch one's eye but how different to each historical figure was has been highlighted many a time.

Nicholas II was czar and hence being born into a royal family made him an obvious leader whereas Lenin gained prominence in the party and came into power thus.
Lenin had the willingness to lead Russia used the Bolshevik party to do so, however the Tsar was happy to be with his family and pets and not a bit interested in leadership.
Nicholas II and his entire family were assassinated whereas Lenin died of natural causes way later.
Lenin was the more brutal of the two and used his power to get what he wanted even if it meant torturing or murdering. here Nicholas made some concessions.
The military responsibility was on Nicholas II during his regime but when Lenin took over he would delegate it.

Finally, none of them actually cared for the poor, the oppressed were further in distress when these two came to power.

Both the Wizard of Oz and the the War of Worlds are fictional and escapist stories that put you right in the feet of the main characters and experience a world that is far from real.

In the Wizard of Oz, you follow Dorthy and her magical friends who help her along in her journey. In War of the Worlds, you see the invasion of earth by advanced aliens and experience the raw emotions of that character, his survival instincts and the danger he experiences.

However, apart from the similarities, they are actually very different. Wizard of Oz can be described as a family-friendly story that kids would love. However, War of Worlds is full of violence, blood, and gore. The tone is far more serious and suitable for adults.
