Which of the following is an example of how people take ownership of space? a. locking the door to your home b. a name plate on

the door of an office c. getting an assigned seat in a classroom d. all of the above
This "ownership of a space" is connected directly with territoriality, so I believe it's B, but I'm not quite sure.

1. Locking the door to your home is taking responsibility for that place that you have claimed as yours.
2. Having a nameplate is a claim on that space. It's saying that this is mine and no one else's until I am replaced. You chose this place.
3. An assigned seat is not yours. It can be changed as soon as it was given. You didn't exactly ask for the seat, it was given to you.
4. Just no
B is the correct answer :)

<span>to show why she decided to paint cityscapes

This is the most probable reason. She was already an artist when she graduated so that knocks out option 1. She might have been creative and determined, but this is not particularly mentioned (unless you count the last line). She does not exactly use her education to figure out what to do.</span>

Drag each phrase to the correct category. Identify the noun phrases and verb phrases. have been celebrating These three days are
yawa3891 [41]

Answer: The noun phrases are "These three days", "their efforts to wipe away" and "Each decoration", while the verb phrases are "have been celebrating" and "are considered".

Explanation: A noun phrase is a group of words that includes a noun, which acts as the head. The noun is modified by other word classes, such as adjectives or determiners. For instance, <u>"these three days", "their efforts to wipe away" and "each decoration" are all noun phrases because they have nouns as their heads</u> ("days", "efforts" and "decoration" respectively). The nouns in these phrases have been premodified and postmodified. In contrast, a verb phrase contains an auxiliary verb and a main verb. For example,<u> in "have been celebrating" and "are considered", "celebrating" and "considered" are the main verbs. </u>
