Using the correct diction in the business world is important because getting your point across isn't possible if you don't use proper words that add intensity or feeling into what youre trying to say or do

Answer:

Diction can mean the <em>"choice and use of words and phrases in speech or writing"</em> and also <em>"the style of enunciation in speaking or singing"</em>. Either way, it is related to how you speak. In the business world, you have to know the nuances of how to treat people with respect while commanding respect at the same time. You have to know when make things slightly less formal to cause proximity to others without making them feel offended or taking the risk of others finding you impolite. So, yes diction is very important because knowing what to say is always important.

Why does the author include details about Myrtle's spending
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

The author includes details about Myrtle's spending habits:

B. to show that Myrtle spends Tom's money.

Explanation:

Myrtle and Tom are characters in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby." Tom and Myrtle are married, but not to each other. Tom, who is a millionaire, is married to Daisy, who also comes from a rich family. Myrtle, on the other hand, is married to George Wilson, a mechanic and owner of a gas station.

<u>Even though Myrtle is poor, she acts as if she were rich when she is with Tom. It is as if his money is her money. At a certain point in the story, on their way to the apartment Tom bought specially to meet with her, Myrtle has Tom buy her a dog. They then spend the whole day drinking and partying with a group of friends. The author includes these details to show that Myrtle has a sense of ownership when it comes to Tom and his money. She wants comfort and luxury, so she uses her lover's money to obtain them.</u>

Read this paragraph:

The correct answer is B. Dr. Robert Garcia.
Given that this entire excerpt is written based on this author's study, it would be best to hyperlink his name so as to go to his study and check the original source of information. Placing it elsewhere wouldn't really make any sense at all.
