Tema [17]
The STATE vehicle code covers licensing, traffic and vehicle laws and detailed punishments for breaking the law.
Vehicle code refers to those traffic laws that regulate how vehicles are operated. In the United States of America, traffic laws are regulated by the states through their traffic codes. Some of the traffic code in these states are made based on the uniform vehicle code, but each state basically has its own law and the traffic laws differ from state to state. <span />

Read the two passages from Sugar Changed the World. Slave owners fought back, arguing that owners should be able to list their s
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

Both passages use evidence to show that knowledge of the extreme brutality of the sugar trade changed viewpoints about enslavement.

Explanation:

The author's main idea is the fact that sugar, even though it had caused all the atrocities it had caused, changed people's impressions of slavery.

All this was due to the fact that with the Age of Sugar, slavery became brutal as ever. And people were noticing it. Lemerre Younger was the first one to protest, declaring <em>equal rights for all</em>. And it -

<em>began to spread — toppling kings, overturning governments, transforming the entire world</em>.

In the second passage, the authors show how Clarkson and the abolitionists fought their fights. It was all about making things <em>public</em><em>, </em>educating the blind. By helping people understand and see the reality of the slave trade, they started a revolution in people's opinion. One was no longer indifferent after <em>Clarkson's speeches and the testimonials he published</em>. The people rose against the torture.

Which of the following settings best create fear or anxiety? Falling snow Sunrise Open fields Decaying trees
Lerok [7]
A sunrise most definitely cannot be associated with either of those things, the sun is most often symbolic of something good or happy. Falling snow also does not create a sense of fear or anxiety, when thinking of snow I think of peace and quiet, serenity. Some might even feel happy or joywhen thinking about snow because it is most often associated with Christmas. I also think that an open field does not stir feelings of fear, that is unless you give details or descriptions to make it scary. I would say a setting with decaying trees best creates fear and anxiety. The word decay literally means " the state or process of rotting or decomposition". It is associated with death, and death is most often viewed as frightening and mysterious. Hope this helps .
