Probably not in a good way because his wife would be worrying about him and wondering if he’s going to get hurt someday or if he’s going to hurt someone not to mention that she is also at risk of getting hurt and as for his children they could possibly get hurt as well because rivaling gangs could go by the house an harm them, just my input.

Answer: empathetic listening

Explanation: Empathetic listening can be simply defined as the act of paying attention or listening to what a speaker or the next person has to say with empathy (compassion, insight et cetera) i.e making the speaker understand that you understand what they are going through. It helps the speaker release their emotions which reduces stress and also the development of trust and respect.

Tien being patient, listening and acknowledging what the employee is saying without being judgmental i.e showing empathy is a good illustration of empathetic listening.
