Levina Teerlinc was a talented painter who served royalties such as Elizabeth I and the Spanish King.

Teerlinc's work were probably lost in other painters' works as she didn't sign them whenever she completed a masterpiece. Today, people can guess that certain works belonged to her.

Answer and Explanation:

Levina Teerlinc was a highly gifted painter who worked for a number of kings and queens, most especially the court of some English royalties. Although her works were profound and renowned, ownership of most of them could not be attributed to her because she rarely/never made claims or signed any of them. This made it difficult for people to link many artworks/paintings of the time to her. In addition, from reasonable speculation and strong evidence given by scholars, a lot of her artworks were lost in flames when the Palace of Whitehall was destroyed by fire.
