It is not obligatory that a person or a country that is nationalist becomes fascist over time, so the answer is yes, it is possible.

Nationalism is a healthy love for one's own nation, for its culture, beliefs, language, traditions, and is proud of them, but not on the expense of the other nations and to consider them as people of lower order, or primitive, not worthy to live. The fascism on the other hand, is an extreme form of the nationalism when we have the glorification of the nation and its values, but in a oppressive and aggressive manner towards the other nations. There are multiple examples for nations where the general population is nationalistic, but has nothing to do with fascism, and in fact is appreciative of the other nations and have good relations with the other nations, some of them are Finland, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Denmark.

Answer:

I think it is possible for people to believe in their country and have pride in its culture without going to the extreme of embracing a fascist political system.

Explanation:

However, nationalism can quickly become dangerous, and even help promote fascism. For example, a fascist government could use nationalist beliefs as justification for violating the rights of individuals.

In 150-200 words, discuss how the nominal and real values of things affect the aggregate behavior of a society. Give an example.
jeyben [28]
The nominal value is the value of a thing in money. The real value is the value in money, goods as well as services. Real values are inflation-adjusted and are, therefore, higher. These helps in the economy in realizing the actual difference in the cost of a commodity, which has occurred due to inflation and not due to the change in the price of the item. This also helps in calculating the gross domestic product rate of a nation, which is affected by inflations and can be calculated in GDP in base year value. These values affect the behavior of the society because if there is a high increase in the AP, then the economy of the country had a positive growth and jobs were created and people were happy during these times, as compared to a reverse situation.

What civil rights and civil liberties remain unprotected or in jeopardy today?
il63 [147K]
Despite the wide range of change that came all throughout the years with regards to civil rights and liberties, there are still people who do not enjoy the rights that some people enjoy today. The problem in meeting the needs of subsistence didn't leave the underdeveloped and developing countries after all the wars. Countries should give their priority to people's welfare, not on the maximization of armaments and research on military technology. The state should always uphold the rights of its constituents at all times.
