1. Short words: If ever man were loved by wife, then thee

Direct statement: Compare with me ye women if you can

Familiar objects: My love is such that rivers cannot quench

2. The parts of the poem that doesn't reflect the planless of Puritan ethic are the ones referred to wealth ("I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold,/ Or all the riches that the East doth hold"). Puritans didn't appreciate physical worldly wealth, they thought their wealth was in heaven.

3. Syntax is the arrangement of words in a sentence.

A. Customary syntax is the normal syntax, such as "If ever two were one, then surely we. If ever man were loved by wife, then thee"

B. Inversion is the arrangement of words in no normal position, such as: "in love let’s so persever" instead of "let's so preserve in love".

4. "Then while we live, in love let’s so persever/ That when we live no more we may live ever" could mean that they should persevere in their love, fight for it and keep it strong, no matter the hardships and bad times, and if they do so their love would live forever even after death.

It was snowing again and I smiled as I stared at the white flakes fluttering by my window. It was (capitalized the C)Christmas, and my day had been one of the best all year. First I (had removed) awakened in the morning to the sound of my brother (added the n to runing)running madly around the house, yelling that it was Christmas. Jumping out of bed, (capitalized the i that was there)I skipped happily down the stairs, with my brother at my heels, and made my way to the Christmas tree in the living room. My parents(apostrophe removed from between the t and s) groggily walked down the stairs to watch us open (up removed) our presents. My Mom sat down on the couch and dad plopped himself on the floor, grumbling something about coffee. I started opening my presents because, after all, its ladies first. Ripping open the wrapping paper, I stared down at my brand(removed dash)new pink boom box. It was beautiful!(question mark changed to exclamation) (capitalized e)Even more, it came with little, stick-on jewels to decorate the boom box. (changed every one into one word)Everyone spends the rest of the day admiring their gifts and playing with their new toys. "I will remember this Christmas forever,"(added endnote) I thought. The correct answer is C) need to balance their home and office lives. As Len Lewis states, modern-day executives must take care of both their personal and professional lives by finding a balance. Moreover, this is shown in paragraph 5:

6. How does the fur contribute to the theme of the story? The story is ""Miss Brill""
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:please see below for interpretation.

Explanation: In the short story written by Katherine Mansfield,

The fur contributes to the theme of the story by representing the character MIss Brill who keeps her fur in a dark box and brings it out only to use it on outings.

The fur accumulates dust since it rarely used, and returns back to its location by Miss Brill after use upon returning.. This dust accumulated by the fur signifies that fur is not constantly in use and does not come out of the box, Similar to the character herself who seldomy goes out, like the fur she leaves home for a bit and spends time only to watch others, eavesdrop on their conversations and then returns to her lonely, small , dark room away from the world as before she left to dwell in her loneliness.
