I sure don't have time to write an essay! But the first one sounds alright.

One of the early Chinese civilizations was located between the two main rivers, (google them for more details) Anyways, unlike most of China, the plain between the two rivers is fertile, allowing the people to grow rice and other foods. Along with that, I am certain that they had mountains and deserts to the west. If they could be used against natural disasters (I doubt they'd come in west) it'd be helpful! Good day

Early Chinese civilization developed between the Yangtze River and the Huang He River (or Yellow River), because the plain between the rivers is fertile, allowing for the development of agriculture.  It's also worth noting that the these two rivers extend for hundreds of miles from west to east before reaching the sea.  This facilitated trade and transportation on the rivers.  It also allowed Chinese rulers to maintain control and communication across the wide expanse of main Chinese territory.

Also worth noting would be the mountains and deserts and ocean that set China off from other lands.  Large mountain ranges exist in the south and west regions of China -- such as the Himalayan Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, and Tianshan Mountains.  The Gobi Desert sits in the northern part of China, and the Pacific Ocean is to the east.  These various geographic features set China off from other lands, so that civilization there  developed in its own unique ways, apart from outside influence.

write 1 to 2 paragraphs about why the Lowell mill girls wanted to strike and why their strikes were not successful.
worty [1.4K]

The Lowell Mill Girls were youthful female specialists who came to work in modern companies in Lowell, Massachusetts, amid the Industrial Revolution in the United States. The laborers at first enlisted by the companies were little girls of propertied New England ranchers, normally between the ages of 15 and 35.[1] By 1840, at the tallness of the Industrial Revolution, the material plants had selected more than 8,000 ladies, who came to make up almost seventy five percent of the factory workforce.

Amid the early period, ladies went to the factories voluntarily, for different reasons: to enable a sibling to pay for school, for the instructive open doors offered in Lowell, or to procure advantageous pay. While their wages were just 50% of what men were paid, many could accomplish monetary autonomy out of the blue, free from controlling dads and spouses. Thus, while manufacturing plant life would before long come to be experienced as severe, it empowered these ladies to challenge sexual orientation generalizations. hope this helps

The article cites two arguments about the "economic miracles"
8090 [49]

Answer:

The German and the Japanese economic history of the post war years is considered to be an "economic miracle" for two main reasons:

  • Both countries were devastated after the World War II. Japan and Germany were losing countries, and had to surrender incoditionally to the allies (United States, the Soviet Union, France, and Britain), after having their cities, countryside, and infraestructure bombed and destroyed. Some cities had to be rebuilt almost from scratch, and this obviously made it harder to propser economically.
  • The two countries quickly recovered and began to grow economically at an spectacular pace. For example, by the 1960s, only 15 years after the end of the war, Japan was growing at a pace of over 10% per year, and Germany was growing almost as much. This enormous economic growth only a few years after having been devastated, helped Germany and Japan become developed nations in only two decades.
