A population of hummingbirds feeds exclusively on nectar from orchids. Two species of orchids exist in the hummingbirds' habitat

. One orchid species has long tubes to store nectar while the other has short tubes to store nectar. The hummingbirds have a range of beak lengths, and the beak length determines which nectar tube an individual can feed from. This population of hummingbirds is splitting into two phenotypic groups. What scenario best explains why the population is diverging?

D seems the most likely to be correct as intermediate by definition can either mean in between 2 things but it can also in this case mean a size between long and short, which a medium sized beak might not be long enough to help a hummingbird feed from a longer orchid and all of them should be able to feed from the shorter orchid and mating should have nothing to do with it as the 2 species it refers are the orchid not the hummingbird.

Organisms that have a physical trait that makes it easier for them to access food supplies are unlikely to pass on that trait to
Vaselesa [24]

The statement that organisms that have a physical trait that makes it easier for them to access food supplies are unlikely to pass on that trait to their offspring is false. Organisms pass their traits and adaptation abilities to their offspring. These organisms have also characteristics that are advantageous for reproduction in a specific environment and leave more offspring in the next generation. The process is called natural selection.

Below are three different scenarios for comparison. For each scenario, decide if it represents greater or less entropy and great
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Entropy is characterized as a level of irregularity or disorder in a system. More the disorder more is the Entropy. The greatest entropy is accomplished when the system is in equilibrium.

In a similar manner, stability is legitimately relative to entropy. Therefore, more entropy, more is the stability and the other way around.

Compared to healthy dog, did the enzymes from Claire’s stomach break down the protein at a low, normal, or high rate?
MrMuchimi
Answer: low rate
Explanation:
Claire is a Great Dane who was losing weight despite the fact that she is eating. Claire doesn't have an increase in appetite and also doesn't have enough energy that is required for her to play.
Claire is losing weight because food the enzymes in her body doesn't break down the food that she eats. When compared to a dog that was healthy, the enzymes from Claire's small intestine broke down protein at a low rate.
