The period after Reconstruction, the last few decades of the nineteenth century, was known as the ” Gilded Age,” a term coined by Mark Twain in 1873. The Gilded Age was a period of transformation in the economy, technology, government, and social customs of America.

The Gilded age and the Progressive Era are time periods that played an important role in the development of the American society. The Gilded Age is a period of American history between 1870 and 1900. ... By this, he meant that this period was glittering on the surface but corrupt underneath.

New" Immigration took place during the Gilded Age. Most of the immigrants were from Greece, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Russia and Croatia. The vast majority of immigrants were Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox. However, Jews from Eastern Europe began to immigrate as well because of increasing persecution.

ok

Explanation:

Technology transformed the United States in the Gilded Age in many ways. I guess the first one was themarked offer tranformation of ways of transportatio. Locomotives shortened distanes and time of trips, products that used to take days to arrive in a place  now could be there in hours, so it was the beggining of foreing revolution.

Electricity is the second one, this discouvery took humanity from darkness to the light era, an era that permited simple but extremily important things like reading, cookin, walking on the street and working. All of them were great, but working moved countries and economics up.

The navy industry also had a great advance in technology and after that helped cganging the face of the planete taking armies anywhere faster than they could never imagine. It hlped on faster trips, taking machinary, food from place to place what helped peoples alimentation and growth of diferent populations.

Describe ONE way in which Akbar’s response to religious diversity compared to the practices of the Mongols during the 13th centu
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

- 'While Genghis Khan was attempting to set up his government, Akbar got consultation from the Chinese and Islamic scholars and also initiated a policy declaring the religious tolerance across his empire in order to make the trade safer for traders as well as merchants.'

Explanation:

The above description aptly portrays how Akbar believed in accepting and giving respect to other religions as well unlike the Mongols during the 13th century. Except for this issuing of his policy of religious tolerance, while expanding his empire, he even married a Hindu girl i.e. 'Jodha' and gave her equal respect and dignity to pursue her religions without any restrictions. These things show that Akbar was believed in secularism.
