Read the excerpt below and answer the question. "...But if you'll unwrap that package you may see why you had me going a while a

t first." White fingers and nimble tore at the string and paper. And then an ecstatic scream of joy; and then, alas! a quick feminine change to hysterical tears and wails, necessitating the immediate employment of all the comforting powers of the lord of the flat. What can the reader infer about Della’s reaction to opening her gift? Della was so excited to have the combs she had wanted, that she momentarily forgets she has cut her hair. She cries as she realizes she will not be able to use them. Della excitedly opens her gift, and cries tears of joy when she realizes what Jim has bought for her. Della is at first excited to have the combs, then she cries because she knows they have cost Jim too much. Della is happy about receiving the gift, but she is worried that Jim will not be able to forgive her.

a0 is the punishment in Dante’s Hell which resembles or contrasts the sin in which the person created while on Earth.
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

Estige, the river of boiling blood, is the punishment in Dante's Inferno that resembles or contrasts the sin in which the person created while on Earth.

Explanation:

At the entrance to the fifth circle of hell is a waterfall of bubbling, boiling water and blood whose water was darker than purple. The water descends some beaches and forms a lake called Styx, where the accused are accosted with rage, who are together beating themselves and torturing themselves in an endless rage. At the bottom of the Styx are the spiteful ones who never showed their anger; they can not rise to the surface and stay in the mud at the bottom of the river, releasing the bubbles that are seen on the surface.

How does Bo Levin's statement, "A lot of people are intrigued by environments that can resemble the end of the earth," affect ou
lidiya [134]

Answer:

When the the wildest imagination of a nightmare becomes reality...

Explanation:

The nuclear accident in the Ukraine (1986) brought not only disaster and terminal diseases for a whole generation in the wide region of Chernobyl, but it also made painstakenly clear that the end of the earth was not so far away (neither in time nor space) from western societies in Europe as we thought it would or should be. The radiation fallout was registered as far as the North Sea between England and the continent. In a sense disasters like the one in Chernobyl (Cherno means Black) wake us up from our little naïve dream world and make us realise how fragile our existence can be.
