Answer:

Kafka describes the servant girls behavior in such a detail because he wants to show his past worry-free job and life. He expressed that by describing a hung picture of Gregor as a lieutenant during his military service, he wanted to compare his life at two different points in time. The author shows that Gregor used to be very happy, but now he is always stressed and exhausted.

Bradbury is trying to show how this society is constantly bombarded with media. In this case, it's advertisements pounding them into a passive state. No one on the train is talking or interacting. They are just sitting listening to the advertisement like they are being brainwashed into buying denham's dentifrice. In contrast to this Montag is trying to read a passage from the Bible about letting go of material things (including Denham's dentifrice). This juxtaposition between the natural world and materialism further shows how society is so wrapped up in media that they are unaware of the world around them.

3241004551 [841]

Answer:

Extraordinary

Explanation:

The answer is extraordinary because out of all the other words, it it's more positive. Outlandish, strange, and unusual would put a negitive impact on the sentence.

vlada-n [284]

Answer:

Outreach

Explanation:

The three options provided are types of people i.e "children", "elderly", and "homeless". So, the fourth element too should be a type of people. Hence, "Finances", and "Conservation" are eliminated.

Out of "Students" and "Outreach", "outreach" would be better option;

Firstly because, children (age), elderly (age) homeless (location), and then fourth too should be about location i.e. "Outreach"

Secondly, because "students" is a sort of occupation, children may also be students. So, "Students" does not fit well with the three provided options.
