It is not clear whether the narrator is talking about the last piece of jewelry he made or the last message his Dad left. The bracelet was the most beautiful because it was made after practice with the other pieces. The bracelet was the most beautiful because it represented his dad’s last words.

There's a clear ambiguity on the text regarding the jewelry and the messages.

The narrator is talking about how it was made jewelry with the father's message with Morse code but the phrase is as follows:

"[...] with Dad's messages - a necklace, an anklet, some dangly earrings, a tiara - but the bracelet was definitely the most beautiful, probably because it was the last"

You cannot say for sure if the last that is referred on the text is that the last message or if it is because it's the last jewelry.

It can either be the last message that makes it to be the most precious or because it was the last jewelry made. The pronoun "IT" can be referring to either.

That is the ambiguity

1. I believe the correct answer is B. The stream of consciousness technique.

This excerpt is an example of Woolf's use of the stream of consciousness technique as an experimental narrative form. This technique allowed her to present inner though process of multiple characters throughout the text (in this excerpt the thoughts of Septimus).

2. I believe the correct answer is C. intense anxiety and fear.

From a description of the scene, we are transported into the mind of the harrowed war soldier, Septimus. The words such as wavered, quivered, burst, and throb, give us a sense of his intense anxiety and fear.

3. I believe the correct answer is: C. "Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold."

The description of the scene is reminiscent of the following line from a poem “The Second coming” by William Butler Yeats is "Things fall apart; the center cannot hold." Septimus believes that he is the one stopping the world from bursting to flames:” It is I who am blocking the way, he thought. Was he not being looked at and pointed at; was he not weighted there, rooted to the pavement, for a purpose?”
