Living in Salem, Massachusetts was one of the closest experiences to witness genuine pilgrims and settlers from the New World. It was a small town and a village, dedicated mainly to the agricultural sector with lots of farmers, the advantage of a developed trading industry and popular urban areas. As the years passed, the community grew that much and having a church became a must so finding a minister was the next step. For some reason, the church administration did not go well as it was previously planned and several conflicts arose along the way. Due to the lack of satisfaction the people had to its ministers and bad luck in not finding a proper one to fulfill the job, villagers started to feel uneasy and worried about this matter, until Samuel Parris was elected as a minister. A man who was loved and hated by the townspeople to the end of his problems and controversies with the witchcraft trials in 1962.
