The answer is: Eliminating knighthood.

The code of Chivalry can be defined as a set of rules or ways of correct behaviour. It was a group of moral codes associated with knighthood. They comprised qualities like bravery, courtly manners, honor, among others.

It lasted form 1170 to 1220 and was never written as a formal document.

Knights were strongly associated with the Church as they were in charge of protecting it. They were said to fight in the battle field showing all their faith and also to protect women and the weak.

Nevertheless, the Church tried to reshape the Code of Chivalry by eliminating knighthood. Knights were replaced by infantry, which was much more effective in the martial field.

sammy [17]

Answer:

D No, because the citizenship requirement is not necessary to achieve a compelling state interest.

Explanation:

Option A is incorrect, because the Tenth Amendment reserves to the states power not granted to the federal government.

Option B is incorrect, because it states the standard that the Supreme Court has applied to primary and secondary school teachers.

Option C is also incorrect, because it states the wrong standard.

Hence, Option D is correct, because a state generally may not discriminate against aliens or foreigners absent a compelling state interest, and no compelling interest is served by prohibiting aliens or foreigners from teaching at a state university.
