Answer:

The second quatrain further develops the central idea presented in the first quatrain:

B) by making additional comparisons between the mistress’s appearance and nature

C) by extending the descriptions of the mistress beyond what can be seen

Explanation:

“Sonnet 130,” by William Shakespeare is quite different to what people might expect about a loved one since this sonnet portrays his beloved one as something that is not as beautiful or perfect as the most beautiful and perfect things through the first quatrains and then shows how he loves her even though she is not perfect at all.

History, 04.06.2020 02:00, dbzrules02

Read the passage from the Houston Chronicle about air quality in Houston in 2019. “I’m surprised and disturbed that Houston’s air quality worsened in this year’s [American Lung Association ‘State of the Air’] report,” said Luke Metzger, director of Environment Texas. “The trend since 1999 had been one of steady progress and instead now it seems we are backtracking and that’s bad news particularly for the hundreds of thousands of people who have asthma or other vulnerable populations like senior citizens. . . .”

Current models estimate that more than 60 percent of ozone pollution is from cars, according to Raun, and to address that, the city is trying to encourage practices such as the use of mass transit and transitioning to fuel-efficient or low-emission vehicles.

How is Houston trying to combat increasing ozone pollution?

by raising taxes on vulnerable populations

by increasing access to health care

by encouraging use of mass transit

by prohibiting the sale of new cars

Aloiza [94]
The story evoked many emotions amongst the lead characters. Lizabeth used to be a careless girl that had matured because of the events happening around her. She had been angry at what she had done to Mrs. Lottie's perfect garden when poverty had hit them. She was confused why her strong father had cried.
Lizabeth realized in the end that life is never perfect and that she has to learn to understand and live it with what she has.

Which sentence in this excerpt from Elizabeth Cady Stanton's speech "Solitude of Self" conveys that it is important for women to
Sonbull [250]

Answer: The education that will fit her to discharge the duties in the largest sphere of human usefulness will best fit her for whatever special work she may be compelled to do.

In this excerpt, Elizabeth Cady Stanton complains of the fact that women's education is determined by her relationships to other people as mothers, sisters, daughters and wives. This is true even when women do not fulfill these roles (for example, unmarried or childless women). This is different from the education of men, which is pursued by considering him an individual in his own right. She argues that, whatever work women decided to perform, their being educated would allow them to perform them in a much better way than if they were ignorant.
