The Muslims managed to expand from the Arabian Peninsula towards the east fairly easily and this was due to the military power, unification, instability in the east, seeking for security and savior of the people in the east.

The Muslim were unified, and that was a very nice example for the people in the east that if they are unified they will be stronger, and they will also have better lives, and be more secure.

The east was divided into multiple smaller countries where there were constant battles and  instability, so the Muslims with their unification propagation were seen as saviors. On top of it, the people in the east were desperate for a new savior, a divine figure, and the Muslims brought that to them.

Answer:

According to the Islamic faith, there is virtually no separation between the personal life and the religious life of a Muslim. All Muslims must observe Friday as a sacred and holy day. This day of the week is dedicated to Allah, and no business is conducted on any Friday. During the week, a daily ritual of prayer also takes place in the lives of all Muslims. Five times during each day followers must kneel and conduct a prayer ritual while facing the direction of the holy city of Mecca. A third example that demonstrates the connection between the personal life and the religious life is seen in Muslims’ approach to alcohol. It is a violation of Islamic law for any Muslim to consume wine or alcohol at any time.

The altitude of Polaris measured by an observer at the Tropic of Cancer is 1) 15° 2) 23.5° 3) 66.5° 4) 90°
9966 [12]

Answer: 23.5\°

Explanation:

The Tropic of Cancer is one of the parallels (imaginary line around the Earth parallel to the equator) located in the northern hemisphere (currently its latitude is 23.43672\° \approx 23.5\°).

It is called "Cancer" because a long time ago, when the summer solstice occurred in the northern hemisphere (on June 20th or 21st), the Sun was in the constellation Cancer (the crab).

Now, if we were just in the North Pole, Polaris would by exactly over our heads (90\° over the horizon), but as we go south and find the Tropic of Cancer parallel, Polaris altitude will be approximately at an angle of 23.5\° over the horizon.

Hence, the altitude of Polaris measured by an observer at the Tropic of Cancer is 23.5\°.
