Answer:

This excerpt shows an example of conflict between the disapproving pigs and Napoleon.

Explanation:

In George Orwell's allegorical novella "Animal Farm", Napoleon is one of the pigs that takes power after the human who owned the farm is expelled by the animals. Napoleon's character functions as a representative of Soviet leaders, who claimed to be working for the people, but employed threats and intimidation to maintain themselves in control of the country.

The excerpt shows one of the moments in which an unfair decision is made. The animals can feel their rights haven't been respected, their opinions haven't and will not be heard. However, they are not as intelligent and do not have as much knowledge and understanding as the pigs, so they are incapable of arguing. Still, there are four pigs that disapprove of the new decision and vocalize their worries. This is a conflict between them and the leader Napoleon. But Napoleon uses his dogs to control them through fear.

Entertaining someone means to capture their attention.

When the bachelor says at the end <em>"I kept them quiet for ten minutes, which was more than you were able to do"</em> he is implying that no matter what she thought of his story and how much "better" she thought she could've done it, his was able to capture the attention of these kids and that is the matter of the issue because, for a story, entertaining is more important than proper form

Sonja [21]

Answer:

It illustrates internal dialogue.

Explanation:

In graphic novels, the thought bubble is used to show internal dialogue. The term that is more widely used is <em>internal monologue</em>. In literature, a dialogue is a conversation between two or more characters, and a monologue is a speech presented by one character in order to show their thoughts. When those thoughts remain inside a character's head, we have an internal monologue/dialogue. In graphic novels, we can get insight into those thoughts thanks to thought bubbles.
