To provide more information or to identify a word, a noun or pronoun is placed with another noun or pronoun, referred to as an appositive phrase.

An appositive phrase may be nonessential or essential.

In essential appositive, the words are not set off with commas.

Whereas, nonessential appositive refers to the addition of meaning in a sentence which is already clear and is set off with commas.

Therefore, phrase which is an appositive in the above sentence is "Snowy Heat" as it qualifies the noun guitar composition.

Mustafa is an excellent long-distance runner, and the race was won by him last weekend. Which is the best way to write this sent
Arada [10]
<span>The question is asking us to re-write the sentence "Mustafa is an excellent long-distance runner, and the race was won by him last weekend. " The options are the following: 1) Mustafa is an excellent long-distance runner, and the race had been won by him last weekend. - there is no need for the past perfect, as the first sentence is in a present tense 2) Mustafa is an excellent long-distance runner, and he won the race last weekend. - this is the best option, there is no problem with it; 3)Mustafa is an excellent long-distance runner, and he win the race last weekend. i - this is grammatically wrong as we need a past tense in the last part; 4) Mustafa is an excellent long-distance runner, and the race was win by him last weekend - this is also wrong as you would have to say "was won"</span>

I would say the answer is a. 5 and 7 because one is talking about teaching your dog to sit and the other is teaching your dog to lay down. I have a dog and to teach her to sit the process is the same as teaching her to lay down (I.e. you do the process to teach her either of those skills). Hope this helped! :)
