Answer:

The Age of Revolutions: 1789-1848

Explanation:

In the first 50 years of the 19th century, there were several transformations in the western part of the world. Industry and communications have shown significant growth. Another sector that grew was the military, in which the opportunity to pursue a career in the army was a major attraction for the youth of the common people, influenced by liberalist philosophy. At that time, there was also a process of expansion of public primary education and an increase in the population that inhabited the main cities.

With this advent, people who lived in the city began to have more access to culture and to participate more actively in issues related to society. In addition, this phenomenon gains greater proportions with press publications, which fostered public opinion. In this way, some groups with liberal ideals initiate movements of opposition to the Holy Alliance, which had the objective of containing the ideals disseminated by the French Revolution. Gradually, liberals, previously seen as subversives, begin to see their ideas as justified, endorsing the revolutions that were to come. From this point of view, the European people are beginning to see the authorities and monarchs who were not subject to the laws, as tyrants.

a) How did consumers spend their 2008 tax cut (News, p. 237 in your textbook)? b) Does it matter what they spend it on, in terms
slavikrds [6]

The answers are:

a. The people spent their tax exemptions in the market and many spent them to buy stocks.

b. The spending did matter as it was to restart the economy.

Explanation:

The reason to give tax exemptions at the time of the crisis was to lead people to use that money to stabilize the market again and buy things for themselves in the given market economy where the things had cheapened to risen the demand again.

The way that these purchases worked was that the parts of shares that had went down would rise up in value when more and more people would end up buying those shares again and making the value rise thus.

Why was HELIOCENTRISM so radical from a<br> religious perspective?
Paha777 [63]
Heliocentrism was the initial breakthrough in the Scientific Revolution which came from Polish mathematician and astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. His essential argument was that “at the middle of all things lies the sun” and that the earth, like the other planets, revolves around it. Thus, the reason why this theory was so radical from religious perspective was the fact that earth was no longer unique or at the obvious center of God’s attention. This challenged the previous understanding of the Catholic Church that the attention of the entire universe was centered on the earth and its human inhabitants, among whom God’s plan for salvation unfolded.

P.S. I hope this helped as I just read about this in ‘Ways of the World’ by Robert W. Strayer for AP World History :)
