Answer:

Antes mi hermanita le tenía miedo a los perros.

Explanation:

Antes mi hermanita le tenía miedo a los perros. "Tenía" comes from the verb "tener" and is conjugated in the tense called pretérito imperfecto. This is used to talk about things in the past which don't have a precise moment of beginning and end or to talk about something in the past that has certain continuity. In English the imperfect can be sometimes translated into "used to". In this case: My sister used to be afraid of dogs.

State your hobbies by matching each verb with an appropriate phrase in the second column and forming a complete sentence beginni
Luden [163]

Answer:

idk where you need help but i could help you with grammar. :)

Explanation:

Number 1:

Original: Me gusta ver.

Fixed: Me gusta ver la tele. (I like watching television)

What you are saying is literally "I like seeing" so, I completed it with something else.

Number 2:

Original: Me gusta sacar la guitarra.

Fixed: Me gusta tocar la guitarra.

Yeah, its better if you change the verb to "tocar" because you are trying to say that you like playing the guitar. But for the sentence to go according to the instructions, lets write...

"Me gusta sacar a mi perro para un paseo." (I like taking my dog for a walk.)

Number 3:

Original: Me gusta jugar al tenis.

Fixed: Me gusta jugar tennis.

There is not need to add in "al". You can just write it like this.

Number 4:

Original: Me gusta tocar mis abuelos.

Fixed: Me gusta estar con mis abuelos.

Again, you should change the verb. (like in number 2) On your answer, you are saying "I like touching/to touch my grandparents." It didn't seem so formal so i changed it to "I like being with my grandparents." But for the sentence to be according to the intructions. Maybe you can use the one on sentence 2 for this question.

Number 5:

Original: Me gusta bailar con la música rock.

Fixed: Me gusta bailar música rock.

The "la" is fine. Its fine with any of the two. But when using the verb "bailar" maybe try it with another sentence like... "Me gusta bailar en my cuarto" (I like to dance in my room.)

Number 6:

Original: Me gusta visitar películas.

Fixed: Me gusta ver diferentes películas.

When getting the direct translation to your answer, it's says "I like visiting (the) movies." If what you were trying to say was "i like watching movies." Then again, you should change the verb. What I changed was the verb and added another word to make it a complete sentence, writing "I like watching different movies."

If you dont wish to use these examples, thats ok. At least i tried to help. Dont give up! :D

¿Qué oración dice en español: "It's their store"?
Es sus tienda.
Es su tienda.
Scilla [17]
Both say “it’s their store” it just depends whether you are talking about one or more people. Su is usually he/she but it can mean they/it if you are being non-gender specific. Personally I would go for Es sus tienda but I’m not a native Spanish speaker so I could be wrong
