Imagism was an avant-garde aesthetic school dating from the second decade of the twentieth century, consisting of a new way of making poetry, with new sound rhythms, use of colloquial language, unconcern with the metric, free verses and the use of images. Also, use the imagery resource intensely as a way of emphasizing the meaning of the writings.
