Research about differential reinforcement of sex-appropriate behavior suggests that fathers are more likely than mothers to discourage youngsters from playing with gender-inappropriate toys.

Fathers are also likely to reward behaviors that are gender appropriates based more than mothers.

Further Explanation

The way fathers and mothers disciplined their daughters and sons are entirely different. Fathers will likely use physical forms to discipline their children while mothers may likely just talk to the children about the consequences of their unwanted behavior.

Differential reinforcement is when you reinforce the desired behavior you wish to increase and use extinction for other undesired behavior. The use of extinction is to stop the reinforcement of undesired behavior that has been previously reinforced.

Differential reinforcement has to do the concept of discrimination because the concept of discrimination originated from differential reinforcement

For instance, when you reward a child for brushing his teeth and imposing a consequence when the child fails to brush his teeth before going to bed, you are applying a differential reinforcement.

There are also several aspects in differential reinforcement and they include

 • Differential reinforcement of other behaviors
 • Differential reinforcement of alternative behaviors
 • Differential reinforcement of incompatible behavior

Answer:

Research about differential reinforcement of sex-appropriate behavior suggests that "fathers are more likely than mothers to discourage youngsters from playing with gender-inappropriate toys".

Explanation:

To understand why Fathers are more likely to discourage youngsters from plying with gender-inappropriate toys we have to realize what is its cause. First of all sexism and its association with stereotypes is the cause of this behavior but ignorance, repression, fear, and beliefs are the main reasons fathers perform it.

Let's think about our modern society, it is based on hundreds of years of beliefs, customs, and lifestyles. Wichi in the majority of the cases is followed because someone taught us how to live. The thing is this culture and ideologies have made the men a very susceptible judging machine in which if he doesn't think something is right he is not going to let it happen. Of course, in many cases, it is based on his beliefs, beliefs that certain toys will turn his son or daughter into something he isn't supposed to be without knowing it for a fact. Classifying activities, functions, and objects by gender is a big mistake because there is no wrong in gender construction and the gender barriers only limit our society.

likoan [24]
A possible alternative to slavery that I think the colonists could have used to solve the labor shortage is for them to give the laborers more compassion and rewards. Instead of trying to threaten or discriminate them, why not treat them fairly and that colonists would get all their commitment to work and could encourage more laborers to join.

Answer:

Kinesthetic Method

Explanation:

Plato proposes that we are born with all knowledge and forget all at birth. He proposes that we have a soul before birth and that soul has a great amount of knowledge obtained in previous existences (but that would be another topic).

The way we learn everything again is by recollection, experiencing situations and having contact with the knowledge that would bring back the lost knowledge, hence recollecting it.
