Answer:

An asteroid is in circular orbit around the Sun. Its distance from the Sun is 7.3 times the average distance of Earth from the Sun. The period of this asteroid is  C : 20 Earth years .

Explanation:

Kepler's law

T² ∝ R³

T = orbital period of the planet

R = semi major axis of the orbit.

Now

( T₁ / T₂ )² =  ( R₁ / R₂ )³

T₁ =  Earth time period = 1 year

T₂ = Asteroid time period

R₁ =  The distance between Earth and Sun

R₂ = The distance between Asteroid and Sun

From the question ,

R₂ = 7.3 R₁

applying on the above equation ,

( T₁ / T₂ )² =  ( R₁ / R₂ )³

( 1 / T₂ )² = ( R₁ / 7.3 R₁ )³

( 1 / T₂ )² = ( 1 / 7.3 )³

T₂ = 19.7 year

Hence ,

approximately T₂ = 20 years.

The period of this asteroid is  C : 20 Earth years .

Which of the following accurately lists physical factors that help constitute a region?
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

You included no options so I will be general in the answer.

Regions are areas that share certain characteristics so in this case, a region will be the area that shares physical factors.

These factors include;

  • Landform - These are the physical features that the areas might share such as being mountainous, having valleys, deserts, plains, plateaus and the like.
  • Climate: Regions generally share the same type of climate and so areas close to each other with the same climate can be classified as being in the same region. For instance, areas near the equator receiving rainfall all year round with high humidity have a tropical climate and so are tropical regions.
  • Soil: The soil in a region is usually similar as well so this can be used to classify a region. For instance, desert areas will have more sandy soil then other types.
  • Natural Vegetation : The natural vegetation can also enable Geographers to classify areas as regions if the vegetation is similar. For instance shrubs in semi arid areas and tall canopy like trees in tropical rainforests.

Why does the infrared light causes the toy to turn blue when the light from the desk lamp does not?
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

Infrared light is very different than regular light. You mostly can't see infrared light, at least, not with the naked eye. but sometimes  when laser light pulses rapidly, light-sensing cells in the retina sometimes get a double hit of infrared energy. When that happens, the eye is able to detect light that falls outside the visible spectrum. Infrared is also hotter than a regular lamp light

Sorry if this doesn't help I hope it does UnU
