Donatello's David is one of the bronze sculpture sculpted in the early renaissance. David image is captured from a biblical scene of his victory over Goliath. Earlier in medieval times David was shown as a king as he is shown in the Old Testament. Donatello changed the style he shown David in without cloths and in his youth.
