Answer:

Arctic Ice Cap

Explanation:

Snow and ice sublime, although more slowly, at temperatures below the freezing/melting point temperature line at 0 °C for most pressures. The loss of snow from a snowfield during a cold spell is often caused by sunshine acting directly on the upper layers of the snow. Ablation is a process that includes sublimation and erosive wear of glacier ice.

Id say the best answer would be the Sahara. Sublimation is going from a solid to a gas. Imagine an ice cube, it would be so hot that it would go from ice to its gas form of water vapor, instead of melting into water. In the Amazon, it would most likely just melt. In the attic, it wouldn't change. And again, it would only melt in Florida. Hope this helps.

Which of the following statements is true about a light year?
Afina-wow [57]

Right answer: It is used to measure long distances in space

A light year (ly) is a distance unit that is approximately 9.46×{10}^{12}km.

By definition it is the distance that a photon would travel in vacuum during a Julian year (365.25 days) at the speed of light (299 792 458 m/s) at an infinite distance from any gravitational field or field magnetic.

In other words:

It is the distance that light can travel in a year.

This unit is used to measure large distances in space. Therefore the correct answer is D.
