Answer:

A. The Northwest Territory was created.

E. Slavery was prohibited north of the Ohio River.

Explanation:

A. Northwest Territory was created as a result of the Northwest Ordinance on July 13, 1787. It also stated how different parts of the territory could become states.

E. The act banned slavery which made the Ohio River a natural divider between the slave and free states of the country. The act promoted freedom of slaves. However, an indentured servant law allowed some people to have slaves under the condition that they would not be sold or bought.

Why does Winthrop believe that a Bill of Rights is essential in the constitution?
Andreas93 [3]

Anti-Federalist James Winthrop thinks that the Bill of Rights is important enough to be a part of the Constitution. He wrote several essays proposing that Bill of Rights should be included because it prevents the dominating majority on taking advantage of the minority who have little to no property and power against the elite. The non-inclusion of bill of rights may subject minorities to potential abuse from the authorities.
