In the natural world, the females and males have different roles when it comes to the survival of the species. The females are usually the ones that take care of the offspring. They provide protection, shelter, and food on regular basis in order for the offspring to survive. Also, the females are the ones that tend to learn the basic and most efficient things when it comes to survival, what is dangerous,, what is not, what can be eaten, and what should be avoided. The males in general have a different role in the survival of the species. The role of the males is usually protecting the territory, as by doing so they fend off competition for the food sources, which are crucial for the survival of the species. Also, the males are the ones that put themselves first in line when it comes to defense, be it of the females or the offspring, and they would risk their life in order to provide protection for them. When the roles of the females and the males are combined, than they usually have the right ''receipt'' for survival of the species.

Nitrogen gas from the atmosphere can be converted into a useable form of nitrogen in the soil by
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

Fixation

Explanation:

The majority of nitrogen is fixed by bacteria which are symbiotic with plants which are converted to biologically useful forms by specialized bacteria. This occurs in two steps:

  • bacteria convert ammonia in to (nitrites) NO₂,
  • bacteria species convert it to NO₃ (nitrate).

Nitriates are a form of nitrogen that is usable by plants. It is assimilated into plant tissue as protein. The nitrogen is passed through the food chain by animals that consume the plants, and then released into the soil by decomposer bacteria when they die.
