Answer:

Net capital spending = $2,985,000

Explanation:

There are two financial years in consideration

They are 2008 and 2009

Closing values of 2008 = Opening values of 2009

Now, closing value of net assets at 2008 = $4 million

Closing value of net assets for 2009 = $6.2 million

Net capital spending = Gross fixed assets at year end - Opening fixed assets

Gross fixed assets = Net Value + Depreciation

= $6.2 million + $785,000

= $6,985,000

Thus, Net capital spending in 2009 = $6,985,000 - $4,000,000

= $2,985,000

Answer: A) Give and explain counter-arguments against the arguments for each side.Note: the "counter-arguments" you are asked to give should oppose or answer the arguments on the other side as directly and convincingly as possible. They should not be simply unrelated arguments on the opposite side of the issue.

Explanation: When is talking about security is important to have different views, firstable you need to establish which are going to be your claims, premises or arguments, once you got it is important to search for information which can support your ideas, and once you have found it, counter-arguments are necessary to understand which are your weakest point, you need to know your counter-arguments and how people are likely to attack you, once you know the weak part of your speech you can defend it.

Cindy's current year adjusted gross income (AGI) is $300,000 and her current year total tax liability is $60,000. Her immediate
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

The answer is $44,000

Explanation:

Solution

Given that

Now

Present/current year AGI = $300000

Present /current year tax liability = $60000

Prior year AGI = $200000

Prior year tax liability = $40000

Thus

As per Tax rule or applying the Tax rule

If Adjusted gross income(AGI) of prior year is below $250000 then the minimum required tax payment in the current year in order to avoid interest penalty is lower of

(1) 90% of present /current year tax (liability) or

(2) 110% of prior year tax liability

So

Because the prior year AGI is $200000 which is lower than $250000, in order to avoid interest penalty, the minimum required payment amount of tax liability in current/present year is lower of

(1) 90% of current year tax liability of $60000

Then

$60000 *90% = $54000

Or

(2)110% of prior year tax liability of $40000

$40000 ×110% = $44000

Hence, minimum required total tax payment amount for the current year is $44,000

If a check correctly written and paid by the bank for $648 is incorrectly recorded on the company's books for $684, the appropri
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

add $36 to the book's balance.

Explanation:

Since in the question it is given that the check amount is $648 which is to be paid by the bank is recorded incorrectly in the company books for $684

So the difference of $36 would be added to the company book balance and no adjustment would be made in the bank balance

This addition would balance the both book balance and the bank balance.
