Answer:

Effects: constant thirst y, dry mouth , urge to urinate all the time , weight loss , tingling in legs and feet , wounds that take a long time to heal , frequent tiredness.

Explanation:

  Diabetes mellitus is a disease of glucose metabolism caused by the lack or bad absorption of insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas and whose function is to break down glucose molecules into energy for all cells to harness. The total or partial absence of this hormone interferes not only in the burning of sugar but also in its transformation into other substances (proteins, muscles and fat).

    Type 2 Diabetes - Cells are resistant to the action of insulin. In other words, this hormone is produced but cannot act properly. To compensate for this, the pancreas accelerates insulin production.  But it comes at a price: over time, the organ becomes exhausted and the cells begin to fail. Until, one day, it can no longer handle the overload - that's where the blood sugar goes off and gets permanently high.

The sympthons are:

  • Polyuria - the person over-urinates and, as a result, dehydrates, is very thirsty (polypsy);
  • Increased appetite;
  • Visual changes;
  • Sexual impotence;
  • Fungal infections of the skin and nails;
  • Wounds, especially in the lower limbs, which take a long time to heal;
  • Diabetic neuropathies caused by impaired nerve endings;
  • Heart and kidney disorders

Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

in the Brain Stem

Explanation:

When the gun has fired the casing of the bullet would have been expelled from the gun and most likely landed on the floor, while the projectile in this scenario would have entered the victim's brain and destroyed the brain stem. Most likely stopping in the brainstem or nearby it. This is the most likely scenario because the brainstem is what completely controls the bodies breathing, heart rate, and other important functions of the body by giving it instructions. Damage to the brain stem would cause breathing and heartbeat to stop immediately as all communication would come to a complete stop between the brain these organs.
