Answer: B) The membrane is permeable to the solvent and dialysate, but not to the protein.

Explanation:

the molecules will eventually reach equilibrium due to the concentrations on each side of the membrane and the water potential of the solution inside and outside of the dialysis bag. The proteins cannot move through the membrane, and therefore stay in the dialysis bag.

Why were Archaea and Bacteria grouped together by biologists until recently?
Norma-Jean [14]
Archaea and Bacteria were grouped together because they were both Prokaryotes since they had no nucleus. Scientists then realized they were different because archaea can live in extreme environments, and bacteria can't.

What chemicals regulate the cell cycle how do they work?
Molodets [167]
Cyclins are the chemicals that regulate the cell cycle. Cyclins work by regulating the timing of the cell cycle in eukaryotic cell. Cyclins activates cyclin dependent kinases (CDKs) (an enzyme that works by adding negatively charged phosphate groups to other molecules in a process called phosphorylation) by binding to it to form a cyclin-Cdk complex. This complex then functions by acting as a signal to the cell to move to the next cell cycle phase. At the end of the event, the cyclin is degraded, Cdk is deactivated, therefore signaling exit from a specific phase.

Which factors affect the rate of deposition? Check all that apply. color of the sediment density of the sediment size of the sed
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

density of the sediment

size of the sediment

velocity of the agent of erosion

Explanation:

Deposition can be defined as the process of building up of sediment from chemical processes because the forces which are responsible for transporting Sediment are no longer sufficient enough to overcome the forces of gravity which is why density of the sediment, size of the sediment as well as velocity of the agent of erosion tend to affect

The rate of deposition due to the fact that

Larger and denser particles are heavier and land first before, less dense particles which cause round pieces of sediment settle more quickly than flat pieces .

Hence, density of the sediment, size of the sediment as well as velocity of the agent of erosion will often affect the rate deposition.

Waat phenotype has the greatest frequency in a trait that follows a normal distribution
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

A phenotype is the physical observations of anything, really. For example, lazuli bunting (a bird species) has feathers that range from dull brown to bright blue. the dull brown and bright blue birds are best at mating. adult males are aggressive toward the bluish-brown birds. The greatest frequency here is that 2 seperate colors are able to mate best, yet, the mixed birds are attacked.
