Answer:

A. The Navajo returned to their homeland after the reservation was deemed a failure.

E. Many American Indians died from poor living conditions.

Explanation:

The Long walk was a eviction taken place in the Navajo lands, by the American Army that took them walking all the way to Bosque Redonde where they had a sort of imprisonment/protected area where they were being relocated, after 4 years it was declared a failure and they signed the US-Navajo treaty where they were allowed to return to only a portion of their homeland. Approximately 1 tenth of the population died during the long walk and in Bosque redondo due to poor living conditions.

Read the excerpt from chapter 10 of Animal Farm.
Dmitrij [34]

Naïve citizens allow corrupt governments.

In literature, situational irony creates a contrast between what the readers might expect and what actually happens in the text. The goal is to shed light on the difference between appearances and the reality, with regard to a particular theme.

Here, the irony is that even though the farm produces more and gains more money, the animals who worked for this progress to happen are not getting the profits of this improvement. All the money goes to the hands of the ruling class (the pigs and the dogs), because the other animals are naïve enough to believe that the rulers' "supervision and organisation" work is enough to justify this unfair wealth distribution.

Portugal and Spain became the early leaders in the Age of Exploration. Through the Treaty of Tordesillas the two countries agreed to divide up the New World. Spain got most of the Americas while Portugal got Brazil, India, and Asia.

The voyages of explorers had a dramatic impact on European trade. As a result, more goods, raw materials and precious metals entered Europe. New trade centers developed, especially in the Netherlands and England. Exploration and trade led to the growth of capitalism.
