If you think about it, you can learn a lot from how a person speaks, how they move their hands as they speak, the volume in which they speak, how close/far from you they stand, etc. The reader doesn't have that privilege when reading a text.
A determined author would use their style in their speech/text just as any other person would use their style when they speak or text. Style is something partly inherent in all of us, and it definitely shows part of who we are. In the case of written speech, style becomes much more important because the words on the paper are the only tools the author has to project who they are, their emotions, thoughts and tone through their work.

Hello. You forgot to enter the answer options. The options are:

"A. Change "razor thin" to "extremely tiny."  B. Change "voted out of office" to "removed from their current positions."  C. Change "don't have the money" to "do not make enough profit."  D. Change "definitely not the way to go" to "a completely worthless idea."

Answer:

C. Change "don't have the money" to "do not make enough profit."

Explanation:

The expression "has no money" does not provide accurate and consistent information with a formal language text, when that text refers to the economic conditions of an establishment. "Not having money" is not an economic term that fits the context of the text, which should only use economic terms to maintain the formal tone of the writing.

In this case, the best way to replace this expression and provide a more formal tone would be through the expression "do not make enough profit", which justifies the statement given by the author and maintains the formal tone of the writing.

Kitty [74]

Given that a function

g(d) = 600-50d

Here g is dependent variable and d independent variable

We have to interpret the term 50 in this situation.

g = 600-50d

600 represents the initial amount of water in the tank i.e. when d =0

Let us assume d changes by 1 day. say d+1

then new g = g' = 600-50(d+1) = 550-50d

i.e. whenever d increases by 1 unit, g decreases by 50 galons

Hence correct answer is

The volume of the tank decreases by 50 gal every day.
