10. In practice management, just like any organization, there are four (4) methods to make a decision: unilateral, bargaining, c

ollaboration, and decision rule. Explain your preferred method and why you chose it against the others?

Answer:

I prefer the collaboration method in decision making, because it ensures that all opinions and ideologies are included in the final decision. When using this method, no ones left out and everyone gets equal opportunities in participation. The outcomes of collaboration in decision making tend to be more effective and wholesome. Unilateral decision making is the very opposite of that; its one-sided and it doesn't involve any consultation.

Write an informative essay on the topic of immigration. Your essay will use research to describe the changes and challenges that
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

Immigrant children then had to ride boats for days or weeks. Maybe even months! Children today still can ride boats but they can also ride planes or drive in a car. Immigrant children then, had to go through medical tests to see if they had any diseases. You still have to presently so that's a thing that didn't change. When you arrived to where you were immigrating to you would have to stand in lines with other immigrants and get signed in on paper to let the workers or helpers know that you were there. Some challenges todays immigrant children face are: Lack of paper work, the ability to attend school, and language barriers. Some challenges they immigrants then and the immigrants now face are the same but they were all tough!

What is the purpose of presenting a false dilemma in a speech?
Alekssandra [29.7K]

The answer to your question is D, I'm pretty sure. The question is confusing, to me, too, but hopefully this is correct.

Just searched it up, google said this; "Also known as the either/or fallacy, false dilemmas are a type of informal logical fallacy in which a faulty argument is used to persuade an audience to agree. False dilemmas are everywhere. They can be deliberate or accidental, but their goal is to make their argument convincing."

Think about the character of Rainsford. Which character in the story is his foil? Whitney Ivan General Zaroff
Hatshy [7]
A foil is the near complete opposite of the main character (whichever character they want you to find a foil for).

Rainsford and Whitney were good hunting friends with numerous similar interests. They could not be foils because of how close in similarity they were. Even when they disagreed on how animals felt about being hunted, Whitney seemed open to and intrigued by Rainsford's points and way of thinking.

Ivan is a near irrelevant character, being a mere Cossack who follows whatever General Zaroff says. He is mindless and has almost zero traits to even compare to Rainsford, let alone any traits aside from a mindless follower to begin with.

The answer would be General Zaroff. This is almost like the cliche protagonist vs antagonist foil. Both of them are hunters, but different kinds. Zaroff got bored with animals and wanted to hunt human people instead, whereas Rainsford had enjoyed the thrill of an animal hunt and thinks that the hunting of people is murder. Zaroff is more heartless and cold, a killer, if you will. Rainsford seems to think highly of actual people, and had no interest in playing Zaroff's game.
