Al haber llegado a una edad en la que ya no puede tener hijos, la autora se arrepiente por haber sacrificado la maternidad para

La autora reflexiona sobre la situación de presión social que sufren las mujeres que, como ella, no tienen hijos y deben soportar las preguntas y miradas de los demás, que las juzgan como si sufrieran una limitación física.
Having reached an infertile age, the author regrets having sacrificed motherhood to dedicate herself entirely to her career following the example of many other Spanish writers who didn't have children in order to achieve success. The author reflects on the social pressure situation that women like her suffer because of not having children and, how they must bare judgmental questions and glances of people who consider them to be physically challenged.
