Roaring twenties witnessed a boom in all spheres including the field of modern art.

Explanation:

Art deco and surrealism were the two famous art forms that originated during the period of roaring twenties. Photography was considered to be the main art form with the advent of cameras; people took up photography as a profession too. Many advertising companies hired artists and illusionist painters who advertised their products in color which attracted the consumers.

Surrealism or supernaturalism is the talent which was mostly admired and sought after by many advertising companies. It focuses on portraying a concept ion a positive light and avoiding any tinge of negativity in it.

Read the excerpt from chapter 10 of Animal Farm.
Dmitrij [34]

Naïve citizens allow corrupt governments.

In literature, situational irony creates a contrast between what the readers might expect and what actually happens in the text. The goal is to shed light on the difference between appearances and the reality, with regard to a particular theme.

Here, the irony is that even though the farm produces more and gains more money, the animals who worked for this progress to happen are not getting the profits of this improvement. All the money goes to the hands of the ruling class (the pigs and the dogs), because the other animals are naïve enough to believe that the rulers' "supervision and organisation" work is enough to justify this unfair wealth distribution.

Which best describes President Carter’s attempts to free the hostages in Iran?
STALIN [3.7K]

President Carter's attempts to free the hostages were done in good faith and effort, but were hampered by failures in communication, delivery and execution. The plan involved servicemen who were not as well-trained as they could have been and certain weather effects like the "haboob" which was a big dust cloud, doomed the mission. Carter does deserve credit for taking responsibility for the failure however.
