Answer:

Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia, and also the northernmost. It occupies about half of the territory of North America. Because of its climate, it is one of the 15 countries with the lowest population density in the world, with approximately 4 inhabitants per square kilometer.

Explanation:

The northern region of Canada is literally in the Arctic Circle and in winter can reach temperatures close to 40 degrees below zero. In addition, the southern regions, both to the west in Vancouver, and to the east in Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal are basically extensions of North American cities across the border.

For this reason, only the southern part of the country is populated, due to the harsh weather conditions of the rest of the country.

Amid the 1850s, there was a sectional emergency. The sectional emergency was a period in American history where each "area" of the United States went about as its own particular element without respect to the prosperity of whatever remains of the country.

Fundamentally, every one of these occasions finished and started off the Civil War. It was the ideal tempest. The majority of the years preceding the sectional emergency, subjugation had been disregarded by Congress and no choices were made certifying or denouncing it.

Lines 239–254: Cite evidence to explain the opposing view and counterargument that King presents in these lines.
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

These evidences are gotten from his personal experiences, direct quotations, and examples.

Explanation:

King believed that the Vietnam War was diverting money and the attention from domestic programs which were created to help the black poor.

King's counter argument was:

"People will say that I am just a civil rights leader and have no business taking sides on the issue of war."

His argument was:

"The issue of America's soul is my concern whether it be about civil rights or war".

He said, ‘the war was doing far more than devastating the hopes of the poor at home…We were taking the black young men who had been crippled by our society and sending them eight thousand miles away to guarantee liberties in Southeast Asia which they had not found in southwest Georgia and East Harlem.'”

Suppose you walk into the Capitol in Washington and ask to interview the most prominent person in the entire congress. If they a
bezimeni [28]

The correct answer is B

Congress has two houses: the senate and the house of representatives. The Answer A, president pro tempore of the Senate is wrong- this person is not even the most important person in senate, only the second most important. In fact the highest person in the senate is the Vice President of the United States. On the other hand, the highest person in the house of representatives is the Speaker of the House. So we know it's either B or D.  Now, the question is tricky, as neither of the chambers of the senate is officially more importnat. Additionally vice-president is higher in the line to the succession to the President's office.

However, it is usually assumed that the Speaker represents the Congress as a whole, and that's why i'd go with B.
