Answer:

I should take that pays $12 per hour

Explanation:

Since, the standard hour of working in 1 week = 45 hours,

For first company :

If company pays $12 per hour,

Wages for a week = 45 × 12 = $ 540,

∵ 1 year = 52 weeks,

Thus, annual wages = 52 × weekly wages = 52 × 540 = $ 28,080,

For second company :

Wages per month = $1,400,

1 year = 12 months,

So, annual wages = 12 × monthly wages = 12 × 1400 = $ 16,800,

For third company :

Annual wages = $26,500 ,

∵ 28,080 > 26,500 > 16,800

Hence, i should go to the job that gives $ 12 per hour.

Business processes that cross many different functional areas and require coordination across departments are supported by ____
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

flows of material, information, and knowledge

Explanation:

In simple words, functional areas refers to the different divisions in an organisation made by the top management so that different task can be performed separately by different expert employees. For example all the employees in sales division will be grouped together so that all activities related to sales can be performed efficiently.

However such a framework can often lead to problems in operations due to different objective of every division, therefore, the top management have to make sure that all the activities could be coordinated for the ultimate benefit of the organisations.

Hence organisations use tools such as inventory control techniques, information and knowledge expertise to coordinate and monitor the activities of different departments.

Vanyuwa [196]

Answer: E) Lessors provide a source of financing for lessees.

Explanation:

A Lease is a form of financing because in financing, an entity provides funding in the form of assets whether cash or otherwise to another entity to allow them use to operate their business. The entity that was provided with funding will then pay a periodic payment as a way to pay off the funding.

This is what happens in leases. The Lessor is the owner of the asset and they lease it to the Lessee who then uses it and pays a periodic amount to the Lessor for using the asset.

anice plans to save $75 a month, starting today, for 20 years. Kate plans to save $80 a month for 20 years, starting one month f
miskamm [114]

Answer:

Kate will have $2,178 more than Janice

Explanation:

The constant saving of $75 and $80 each month is an annuity payment. The Balance at the end of 20 years of a constant payment is the future value of annuity.

n = number of months = 20 x 12 = 240 months

r = Average rate = 5.5% per year = 5.5% / 12 = 0.46%

Future value of annuity = FV = P x ( [ 1 + r ]^n - 1 ) / r

Janice

Saving per month = $75

FV = $75 x ( [ 1 + 5.5%/12 ]^240 - 1 ) / 5.5%/12 = $32,672

Kate

Saving per month = $80

FV = $80 x ( [ 1 + 5.5%/12 ]^240 - 1 ) / 5.5%/12 = 34,850.2

Difference  = $34850.2 - 32,672 = $2,178
