Read the following excerpt. Gemma spent the entire week digging through garbage cans and scouring the house for reusable materia

ls to construct a model of the human digestive system. Then she organized them by shape, size, and color. She laid them out on the poster board and connected them end-on-end. The plastic cup was a perfect pancreas. The pink kitchen sponge almost looked like a real tongue once she cut it into the correct oval shape. She soaked paper in glue and water and then molded it into the large and small intestines. Through a stroke of luck, she found her brother’s old fish tank in the attic. The hose from the filter became a more than adequate esophagus. Other materials, such as cardboard and plastic wrapping, helped her complete her project. She thought it smelled a little weird, like different kinds of food and moldy old fish, but it looked great! In this excerpt, the writer uses descriptive and sensory language mostly to help readers imagine what Gemma’s house looks like. how Gemma’s science project tastes. how Gemma’s science project looks. how hard it is to make science projects.

Write a paragraph about the costs and benefits of having insurance.
andrezito [222]
The cost of insurance can be quite high especially for life insurance if obtained when one has a medical condition but can at least alleviate anxiety of spouses who worry about their financial security if their partner dies early. because then they can get financial help to pay for mortgages/rent etc. Also, for car insurance, the premiums can be high but if one gets in an accident, especially if one does not have fault, then the cost of repairs and some medical treatment will be paid.
