  3. The company’s training session, which was due to take place on Tuesday, has been postponed. Here, you need to put the appositive (that additional information about the training session), in between commas, or you can put it in parentheses to separate it from the rest of the sentence.
  4. If you are going to college this autumn, don’t forget to sign up for a discount card. Since the dependent clause is found at the beginning of the sentence (If you are going to college this autumn), you need to put a comma after it, like in sentence 1.
