Answer:

Water will move from side having salt solution to side having glucose solution

Explanation:

Since the side of semipermeable membrane having  10% glucose solution will consists of 90% of water while the side of cell having 5 % salt solution will have 95% of water.

The concentration of water is high on side having salt solution and in a passive transportation across a semipermeable membrane a fluid always moves from a region of high concentration towards a region of low concentration.

Therefore in this case water will move from side having salt solution to side having glucose solution.

The water will flow out of the cell because there is less water outside the cell and there needs to be equal concentration

What are three ways synthetic polymers affect the environment? Some synthetic polymers use materials from Earth that are nonrene
schepotkina [342]
There are two types of polymers which are natural and synthetic polymers. Natural polymers do not affect the environment but synthetic polymers do. This type of polymers are produced by humans. These release reactants which are considered hazardous to humans and the environment. Synthetic polymers include rubbers, plastics, and adhesives, and these are considered non-biodegradable and non environmental friendly. As these build up in the environment, in causes problems such as chemical poisoning to all the living things around it.

Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

DNA replication is faster and microscopic in size, smaller than eukaryotic cell.

Explanation:

The three domains of life are archaea, bacteria and eukarya. The two main biological division are prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The organisms that lacks the complete nucleus are included in prokaryotes.

The DNA replication is quite fast in prokaryotes as compared to eukaryotes because of small genome size, transcription is coupled with the translation and no post transcription modification is present in prokaryotes. The size of prokaryotes is quite small as compared with eukaryotes and shows the fast rate of diffusion.

Thus, the answer is option (a) and (c).

V125BC [204]
There are choices for this question namely:

A) changing the relative evaluation of attributes
B) associating the product with a special group, event or cause
C) changing the basic motivational function
D) changing consumer beliefs about competitor brands
<span>E) changing consumers' subjective norms
</span>
The correct answer is "associated the product with a special group, event, or cause". The product here is diet coke and the company associates diet coke with a special group (people who are trying to lose weight by cutting out carbohydrates), event/cause (the association of diet coke with American Heart Association). This will entice buyers, especially those who are trying to lose weight, to buy their product.

Anarel [89]

Answer:

just learned about this in ap bio haha

Explanation:

Wow, that's such a cool prokaryotic cell. It looks so delicious, I wonder if I can eat it.

"Hey, cell, can I eat you?"

"No, you cannot."

"Please? I would love to have your energy-making properties!"

"How would I benefit from this? It seems like you're being parasitic."

"I would help you, by giving you protection and a safe home. You would give me energy. It seems more like an endosymbiotic relationship to me!"

"Fine, you can ingest me."

I'm so glad they let me eat them, they were so yummy. I can even create energy now, and I have a powerhouse inside me! This is so cool, maybe I should eat that other cell with photosynthetic properties.
