Answer:

extinction

Explanation:

Extinction is indeed a psychological condition found both in operationally regulated and classically conditioned behavior that expresses itself over time through the fading of unenforced learned response.

If historically validated operational activity no longer uses triggering effects the behavior slowly ceases to happen. Thus, from the above explanation we can conclude that the given case illustrates extinction operand conditioning.

Answer: The operant conditioning concept illustrated in this story is known as EXTINCTION.

Explanation: Extinction in operant conditioning can be defined as an act whereby a behaviour that has been previously reinforced no longer no longer produces reinforcing results. This makes the behavior in effect to gradually stops occurring. In essence when a behaviour is not reinforced, it gradually stops over time.

this story is a perfect example of extinction. a behavior that was previously reinforced ( yelling and screaming to get ice cream) was stopped because the ice cream didn't come again after yelling and screaming.

saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

The correct answer is (a)

Explanation:

Selective attention is a psychological term that refers to the ability to focus on one task and filter out all other irrelevant sensory information.

Clay displays a greater level of selective attention, because he's easily able to tune out the sound of the crowd and focus only on the game. On the other hand, Bruce has a lower level of selective attention, because he can't discriminate what he should be focusing his attention on, and it's often distracted by his opponents and the crowd.

Selective attention can be increased and developed, usually by attaining greater skill on whatever task one is focusing on.
