Draw an enzyme that has two substrates, include these substrates. Make sure that the substrate binding site is included in your

drawing. Add to your drawing by depicting the same enzyme, but with product instead of substrate. Link your two drawing by adding arrow(s) to show their relationships.

Answer: Example of enzyme that has two substrates is Lactate dehydrogenase that act on pyruvate and NADH to form lactate.

Explanation: An enzyme is a biocatalyst that convert substrate into product. A substrate is a substance on which an enzyme acts and convert it into product. Enzymes can act on single substrate to form a product or two or more substrates to form products.

An example of enzyme that act on two substrate is lactate dehydrogenase that catalyzes the reaction between pyruvate and NADH to give lactate. It's a reduction reaction where lactate dehydrogenase bind two substrates pyruvate and NADH. It convert pyruvate into lactate and NADH into NAD+. The drawings are attached. When scientists were first studying the fluidity of membranes, they did an experiment using hybrid cells. Certain membrane prote
rodikova [14]

Answer:

C. Initially, the mouse and human proteins were confined to their own halves of the newly formed hybrid cell, but over time, the two sets of proteins became evenly intermixed over the entire cell surface. This suggests that proteins, like lipids, can move freely within the plane of the bilayer.

Explanation:

Due to the fact that a membrane is a two-dimensional fluid, a lot of its proteins, as it is seem in lipids, can flow without obstruction in the plane of the bilayer. This lateral diffusion was at first illustrated by analysing the fusion of a mouse cell to a human cell to produce a big, hybrid cell and then follow up the dispersion of specific mouse and human plasma membrane proteins. In the start up, the mouse and human proteins are restricted to their respective halves of the just produced hybrid cell, but in the space of half an hour or so, the two groups of proteins are noticed to be equally combined over the whole cell surface.
