Answer:

Because of the atomic and structural composition of Steel and concrete.

Explanation:

The experts use different kind of explosives for concrete and steel because of the structural and atomic arrangements. The tensile strength is different between steel columns and concrete. Hence two different powerful explosives are used for two different materials.

to show why she decided to paint cityscapes

This is the most probable reason. She was already an artist when she graduated so that knocks out option 1. She might have been creative and determined, but this is not particularly mentioned (unless you count the last line). She does not exactly use her education to figure out what to do.

chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer:

Ethos

Explanation:

The speaker includes himself and members of the public for those primarily responsible for being concerned with the price of tuition charged to students. This represents the use of ethos, as a rhetorical resource that allows the speaker to present thoughts, positions and attitudes that place him on the same level as the audience, because they equate his character and identification with that of a collectivity.

How does the author characterize Theseus in the story? Cite evidence from the text in your response
PolarNik [594]

The author portrays Theseus as a flawed human being. In early adventures, Theseus proved that he was a 'hero' but it wasn't until he slew the minotaur he became a legend, the living embodiment of braveness. However the author also made sure to mention that he deserted Princess Ariadne and even killed her father without much thought in order to allow the reader to understand that this so called hero although brave is far from perfect.

Hope this helps!
