Answer:

Biology, in its simple terms, is defined as the study of life. Behavior can be described as the actions which an individual does. Behavior of an individual are controlled by the mind. Cognition can be described as the term which explains how the thinking of the mind influences different actions which an individual performs. The actions which an individual will perform will definitely come under biology. The capacity to determine various behavioral actions such as our emotions such as: crying in sadness, laughing with joy, or yelling in anger, along with our daily language such as choosing to swear or not, perception of how we see things, and out moment to moment attitudes are all controlled by the biological organ which is the brain. In order to understand behavior, knowledge of the brain is necessary.

Maddie's nominal income was $33,000 in 2012. In 2013, because of her excellent work ethic, she received a raise that increased h
Trava [24]

Answer:

-6.7 %; Hurt

Explanation:

1. Calculate Maddie's inflation adjusted income

\text{Inflation adjusted income} = \text{2012 income} \times \dfrac{\text{2013 CPI}}{\text{2012 CPI}}\\\\= 33 000 \times \dfrac{125}{110} = \$37 500

Maddie should be earning $37 500 in 2013 just to keep up with inflation.

2. Calculate the percent change in Maddie's real income.

Maddie is "real" salary is only $35 000.

\text{\% Change} = \dfrac{\text{real - expected}}{\text{expected}} \times 100 \, \%\\\\= \dfrac{35 000 - 37 500 }{37 500} \times \, 100 \% = \dfrac{-2500}{37 500} \times 100 \, \% = \mathbf{-6.7 \, \%}

The percent change in Maddie's real income is -6.7 %.

Maddie was certainly hurt by this inflation.

balu736 [363]

Answer: the primary factor taken into consideration during distribution of grants and loans among eligible students is financial needs

Explanation: It is the need-based aid. When the panel is considering to approve the loan, they calculate the student’s need by subtracting their expected family contribution from the cost of education from the budget assigned. A student should have an adequate amount of need in order to accommodate the aid, and for this, they take into account the students financial needs
