Answer:

B. Workers often gave up on strikes because they ran out of money.

F. The movement help set the foundation for the creation of the Textile Workers Union of America.

Explanation:

When it comes to the topic about "labor unions" in United States, the "Loray Mill strike" is considered one of the popular strikes which occurred in North Carolina. Its goal was to provide the employees with better wages and working conditions. This was a response to the "stretch-out system" that the managers introduced. <em>This system doubled the output of the workers and also lowered their wages.</em> The strike went about a few months, but it was unsuccessful. So, this makes letter A, C and E incorrect.

The movement, however, help set the foundation for the creation of the Textile Workers Union of America. This movement was meant to give the textile workers a higher wage and other fair labor practices. This came about when the United Textile Workers of America failed, especially in the North. So, this makes letter F correct.

The members of the union increased during the "Textile Strike of 1934." Many local chapters were established in order to address the different issues. So, this makes letter D incorrect.

One reason for the failure of many labor unions was that <em>"workers often gave up on strikes because they ran out of money." </em>They lacked support and most of the time, they would go back working in the place where they were having a movement against. So, this makes letter B correct. This made their situation even hopeless.

nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

15-25% of survivors were incapacitated .

Explanation:

Norris and his research companions realized that 41% of the empirical studies they analyzed showed that disaster survivors may show evidence of severe and even very severe disability. This percentage, related to the demand for mental health services in communities that have experienced disasters, reveals that between 15-25% of survivors are emotionally disabled, many of them do not even recognize this disability, which limits the execution of an efficient treatment.
