Answer:

The term that best describes Earth's North Magnetic Pole is 'wandering'.

Option: (B)

Explanation:

The changes that occur in the core of the Earth tend to shift the North Magnetic Pole from one point to another through irregular intervals of time. The North Magnetic Pole is, at any given time, located near the Geographic North Pole of the Earth but is seldom aligned with it. Other than the North Magnetic Pole, there is also the North Geomagnetic Pole that is different from the Geographic North Pole or the North Magnetic Pole.

In the year 2001, the North Magnetic Pole was observed to be located to the west of the Ellesmere Islands of Canada. In 2009, it changed its position within the Canadian Arctic but was observed to be moving towards Russia. Recently, in the November of 2019, it has been observed to have shifted farther away from the Canadian Arctic. Thus, we can conclude that the North Magnetic Pole is neither permanent nor aligned with the Geographic North Pole, but is wandering in close proximity to it.

nexus9112 [7]

An engaging and convincing speech definitely needs a speaker that is passionate about the topic. In addition, language must be clear and accessible; in other words, the speaker should speak plainly, even though he or she has expert knowledge in the topic. Finally, stories (the speaker's own stories, if possible) and jokes (or at least a good dose of sense of humor) are also important.
